Rawai Palm Beach resort is located in the south of Phuket and can take roughly 1.5 hours to reach from the airport. Phuket is an enormous island and there are resorts sprinkled from north to south. To reach the hotel, you can either take a taxi from the airport or catch the airport bus down to the BIG C bus stop, followed by a shorter taxi journey. Honestly, you cannot avoid a taxi, but you can reduce the ride time.

Rawai beach is certainly a less touristic and low traffic area compared to other places like Patong beach. This location is meant for a more peaceful, low-key holiday.




The deluxe room is super spacious and has a more exposed, open plan. Entering the room, you will find a handmade bathtub, shower,.etc. Then, straight past the bathroom, is the bright bedroom with couch area. My view was awesome as it overlooked the pool and was high enough (5th floor) that I could see the distant ocean. It was a very calming view indeed and how I liked to end my nights.

Rawai and Kata Palm Beach resorts both also offer suites and villas even with certain rooms having pool access.These rooms are often booked for special occasions and honeymoons also.




Within walking distance, you can stroll down to Rawai beach to catch the sunset. There is also a nearby fisherman’s village with a fresh seafood market. You can purchase seafood and then pay to have it cooked on the spot.

The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service to multiple sightseeing locations. A popular tourist site Prometheap Cape which is an ocean viewpoint. There are also a couple of beaches (Kata and Yanui) you can visit scheduled on different days of the week. Rawai beach normally has a low tide, so it is nice to have other beach options.

Rawai Palm Beach was a refreshing, experience to explore a new region of Phuket. There are also other hotels within the chain located in Kata and Mai Khao (opening 2018).
