LOCATION:

  • A staff member informed me clear instructions about how to reach hotel upon request. Fortunately, I was able to take the Airport Bus for a reasonable cost rather than paying for a price taxi ride. The Airport Bus dropped be on the main highway across from the hotel, so it did take awhile to cross over, but at least I didn’t have to walk far.
  • The hotel was quite noisy because it is situated next to a busy highway and if you are a sensitive sleeper, it may have an impact on your sleep. But, if you’re looking to transition from the airport to south of Phuket, then this hotel appears to be about midway along this route. In regards to the noise, I was informed by an employee that by 2018 there will be measures taken to make the hotels walls more soundproof.
  • The hotel is a short 15-min walk to Central Festival Mall, Big C, and Tesco Lotus supermarkets.
  • Breakfast: I was not sold on the breakfast considering I would have liked more than one piece of toast with my preset breakfast meal and I was not full afterwards. The meal was a small omelette (or choice of egg), plus leafy salad.
  • If you are in transit on Phuket island or en route from the airport, it is a great mid-way point for a stopover rest only.
