CANGGU BOUTIQUE VILLAS – CANGGU, INDONESIA
The Boutique Canggu Villas are located in a more quiet area of Canggu. If you are searching for a low-key place to stay, this would make a great choice. I truly liked the layout of my villa which was divided into three sections.
When you enter through a traditional painted wood door, you find a mini pool (I like to call it.)that is square-shaped. This size pool is meant for relaxation and not for swimming. Regardless, I liked having a private pool for a change rather than sharing with other villa guests.
Once you pass the pool, you enter the bedroom with a sliding glass door. The bedroom has a pretty natural wood interior design also. The last door leads to my favorite place of the villa…the bathroom. It was simply divine in layout and decor and complete with an open air rain shower and bathtub. I liked that it was partly open to the outdoors (from the ceiling, of course). I am not typically a bubble bath person, but I took advantage of this bathtub every day, even before checking out!
In regards to location, I also need to note that this location is not in walking distance to Echo Beach, but there are decent restaurants 20 minutes walk from the villas. At times because of the close proximity of the villas, you might here noise from other guests. Although, the staff is happy to assist with noise control when I informed them.On another note, breakfast is a simple decision between continental or American. I tried both and was pleased with the taste. In total, I thought the interior design of the villa was lovely and probably one of the best bathroom designs so far.
